About
Following the model of the New Horizons International Music Association, the New Horizons Strings in Tucson began in Fall 2024 and became part of the String Project in Fall 2025. New Horizons Music programs provide entry points to music making for adults, including those with no musical experience at all, and for those who formerly played in school music programs. The String Project New Horizons ensembles are open to adults and meet weekly during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. So whether you have always wanted to play an instrument, but never had the chance —-or you used to play and instrument, and haven’t played in a long time– we would love to have you join us. All you will need is a positive attitude!
